CONVENTIONAL PRINTING PRESS

FairPrint’s offset sheet-fed presses use curved cylinders which hold offset plates. Offset

plates are thin metal sheets which once exposed and processed wrap around a printing

press cylinder. The offset plate contains two areas; image areas, which repel water

(remain dry and accept ink) and non-image areas, which accept water.
